OPFC Update - Issue 2Old Peninsula Football Club

Season 2021
Well, what a year it has been for all. A huge time and change and adjustment for our club and everyone in society. And whilst the Old Peninsula Football Club did not kick a football on field for 2020, it was a great chance for the club to implement change and put itself in a position of strength for the future. Our connection with OPGA and Peninsula Grammar have never been stronger, we thank them for their continued support.

With football back in 2021, we are proud to say that all 3 sides are back on the field in and striving to do the jumper proud each week. Our senior side has been tested by injuries early in the season and is looking to come home with a wet sail as the young group of Pirates build their confidence. Our reserves side shot out of the blocks early to a 3-0 start and will be looking to string that kind of form together for the back half of the season as they push towards a finals berth, and the under 19s side are showing some fantastic signs of improvement every week.

We are proud to see the wonderful alumni that now call themselves Pirates continuing to represent the club and school admirably every week, and we would encourage all students past or present to continue their sporting careers with The Old Peninsula FC. Good luck for the rest of the season Pirates!
