Past Staff Reunion and Principal's Welcome

Past Staff Reunion

On Sunday 1 June, Old Peninsula Grammarians’ Association proudly hosted the Past Staff Reunion and Principal’s Welcome event in the Harry Macdonald Pavilion. It was wonderful to see so many former colleagues and friends reunite, some after many years, and pick up right where they left off. The room was filled with warmth and a strong sense of belonging that continues to define the Peninsula Grammar community.

We were honoured to have Principal Leandra Turner speak so openly and thoughtfully about her leadership journey and her vision for the school’s next chapter. Her message resonated deeply with all who attended.

Another highlight was the contribution from Roderick McKillop - Foundation student, master educator, respected peer and friend to many - who represented past staff with his trademark warmth, humour and dignity. His words captured the spirit of the afternoon perfectly.

OPGA’s sincere thanks goes to Merron Cross, our incredible Reunion Ambassador, whose dedication and behind-the-scenes efforts ensured a strong turnout and a meaningful experience for all. We also thank Becca Smith, PGS Archivist for her amazing historical display and photo walls, expertly put together for all attendees to enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who attended. Photos from the day are now available to view on our alumni platform, OldPenConnect. OPGA looks forward to continuing to honour and celebrate the people who have shaped Peninsula Grammar across the decades.
