Penturion Club Lunch – An Afternoon of Memories and Connection

On Sunday 22 March, members of the Penturion Club gathered for a truly special lunch and tour, celebrating alumni from the Class of 1976 and earlier and marking more than 50 years since leaving Peninsula Grammar. The afternoon was filled with warmth as old friends reconnected, memories were shared, and new connections were formed.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Chris Hilton‑Wood ‘76, who generously shared insights and reflections from his time at school, offering a thoughtful glimpse into the past. We were also delighted to welcome Jerry “JB” Boublik ‘76, who made the journey from Coolum to attend and provide an update on fellow members of the Class of 1976. Taking everyone back in time, Doug Thring ’73 captivated attendees with memorable flashbacks from The Pen magazine, transporting the room straight back to the 70’s. The afternoon concluded with guests enthusiastically joining together to sing the school song.

Photos from the event are now available on Old Pen Connect. Visit www.oldpenconnect.com.au and head to Albums to see the highlights. Alumni are also encouraged to upload their own photos and reconnect with friends through the platform.

We look forward to many more Penturion Club gatherings and the continued celebration of lifelong connections forged at Peninsula Grammar.
