After graduating from Peninsula in the Class of 2000, I headed straight to Monash University to study a Bachelor of Science, and with a major in Meteorology I was then able to get my dream job, as a forecaster at the Bureau of Meteorology.

This involved completing a 1 year 'Graduate Diploma of Meteorology' before being posted up to Brisbane to work. From there I worked in the severe weather section, issuing storm and cyclone warnings, amongst many other things. One of my most daunting tasks was being in charge of the Tropical Cyclone Warning Centre during the destructive event of cyclone Yasi.

Since then, I've been lucky enough to move into TV, being the meteorologist and weather presenter with 7NEWS Brisbane since 2013. This has included a mix of big weather events, and a number of more fun broadcasts along the way. While my day to day news bulletin only airs in Queensland, I can also appear nationally on the Morning News and Sunrise during big weather events.

On a personal level I've been married for 8 years now to my beautiful wife Alicia. We don't have any kids, but are "parents" to two pugs. In my spare time still love to get out for a surf or round of golf.
