Spotlight on Alumni Video | Girls at Peninsula: A New Chapter
This Spotlight on Alumni video revisits a defining moment in Peninsula Grammar’s history—the introduction of girls to the school. It features reflections from former Head of Junior School, John McConchie, who played a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life, and Brook Miskin (Class of 1967), the first alumni member to serve on the Board and a passionate advocate for co-education. The story comes full circle as Brook now watches his granddaughters, Georgie and Amelia, thrive at Peninsula—beneficiaries of the very decision he helped shape.
We also hear from some of the first girls to join the school: Steph Hille ('01), daughter of Principal Ray Hille; Carla Murray ('01), whose own children are now enjoying a Peninsula education; and Grace McGuinness ('99), who made history as the school’s first female Dux and Head of School.
A celebration of vision, courage, and legacy, this is one not to miss.
