Welcome

OPGA allows you to maintain a lifelong connection to your school.

When you walk out the gates on Wooralla Drive on your last day of school, you are not leaving your school behind. Instead, you have formed an unbreakable bond and take with you many years of memories, connections, growth and resilience. You now belong to a proud alumni community and OPGA welcomes you with open arms.

No matter how long you were at Peninsula, the connections you make whilst at school will last a lifetime and we encourage you to stay in touch and continue to give back to the school community that gave us all so much. Quod Bonum Tenete.

Who We Are

Every individual shares a unique bond for having attended or worked at Peninsula Grammar.  OPGA strives to honour that bond and strives to keep people in touch, all whilst embodying the core values of our school.

Our extensive reunion program, networking events, alumni speaker program and careers days are the primary drivers for bringing people back to our school – either in person or virtually. The opportunity to remain linked to the PGS community is further enhanced by the variety of sporting clubs, programs, social media connections, tours and social activities run by OPGA.

OPGA’s motto ‘giving back’ underpins the activities of the Association, as we strive to give back not only to our alumni members, but also to the School community to benefit current and future generations.

Speaker Database – Giving Back

OPGA are proud to reconnect the school with alumni speakers, who give their time as career mentors, subject matter experts, guest sporting coaches, foundation students or to simply share their journey since leaving school. Despite the challenges of lockdowns and restrictions over the last couple of years, we have welcomed back to school Olympians, Airforce pilots, surgeons, artists, engineers, STEM leaders, designers, sporting stars, entrepreneurs and more.

We encourage all of our alumni to get involved with OPGA and give back to your school. Opportunities can include speaking at one of our yearly careers and pathway events which we run for current Peninsula students. If you’re interested in coming back to campus (virtually or in person), to share your experiences and inspire the next generation of talent, please sign up to our Alumni Guest Speaker Database using the link below.
